Emmanuel’s story began in 1885 with a desire from members at the then Bromley Congregational Church to witness in West Wickham (then still a small village of around 1000 people). The first church was opened in North Street in 1888 (now a private residence) and the current church in 1929. More detailed histories are available here and here.
